Dev Log #4 Post-Production


After the last player test, we realized that there are still many bugs in the game. Overall, the game runs smoothly, from beginning to end, and players can experience a decent fight, but there are many flaws that make it not perfect in performance.

The reason for these bugs I think was caused by one of our sprints before player testing, we added a lot of new code and fixed old code in a very short period of time. But there is only limited time to test, or no time to test at all.

These days we finally have time to return to this project. According to the previous test feedback, I fixed some AI settings so that they do not avoid players’ attacks too frequently.

A statistics-related script and hooks have also been added, so that players can jump to the results page and view the statistics report of this battle after completing the mission. The specific report page display will be made by other members of the team, but these codes will be easily obtained and manipulated.
